The Peery Foundation provides one-time and multi-year unrestricted support to allow entrepreneurs the flexibility they deserve to grow their ventures and reach their goals. When we invest in leaders whose lives are committed to solving the problem at hand, we can trust the funds will be used wisely and most strategically towards the achievement of their mission. Our support of an organization can range from $1,000 to $100,000 in a given year.

In the structuring of a grant, we allow the grantee to tell us how we should hold them accountable. We plan quarterly, zero-paper check-ins regarding their progress, their challenges, and look for ways to help them be successful. Our role is to serve our grantees, so we try to work on their timetable and give them the biggest return on time invested.

Throughout our partnership, we are involved at the level to which we can be useful. If a grantee can benefit from our involvement, we’ll roll up our sleeves. If they’ve got it figured out, we’re hands off and cheer them from the sidelines. We believe any funder should know when to “lead, follow, or get out of the way!”
